#PHPC17: Public Health and Palliative Care Conference

Conference chair: Dr Denise Marshall

The 2017 conference of Public Health and Palliative Care International is being held in beautiful Ottawa, Canada and is the 5th international meeting for palliative care and public health. This conference is building on the international momentum of the first four conferences, held in India, Bangladesh, Ireland, and England, and is inviting the world to gather once again in Canada’s National Capital.

For this conference, Public Health and Palliative Care International is pleased to announce a conference partnership with the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association, and Pallium Canada. This conference provides doctors, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, public health, palliative care and other allied healthcare professionals; and carers/volunteers and community, with the opportunity to share their experience and expertise on an international platform. This event expects to attract 300-500 public health and palliative care professionals. Following the International Public Health Palliative Care Conference will be the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association Conference which offers delegates a unique dual opportunity.

This three-day conference, taking place in Ottawa during the 150th Anniversary of Canada’s confederation, will be featuring a number of esteemed professional international speakers, abstract-driven workshops, oral presentations, and posters focusing on the five conference themes. Please join us in Ottawa for what promises to be a wonderful learning and networking experience!
